Mercy is seeking a professional to build and maintain an accurate Charge-master (CDM) to ensure compliant submission and reimbursement across Mercy facilities. This role partners with clinical and revenue teams, supporting post-EPIC maintenance and upcoming implementations with the EPIC project team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or related experience), 3–5 years in healthcare coding/CDM, and EPIC experience with required certification within 2 years.

Formación

• Significant experience in coding and CDM knowledge at an acute care hospital.
• Experience with Fiscal Intermediary requirements and CMS interpretation.
• Three to five years health care experience.
• EPIC certification required within 2 years of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain an accurate Charge-master to ensure proper submission, reimbursement and compliance under governmental billing regulations across Mercy facilities.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support post EPIC implementation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and revenue teams and the EPIC project team for new and ongoing implementations.
