Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a CDM specialist responsible for building and maintaining the Charge-master to ensure compliant submission and accurate reimbursement across Mercy facilities.

The role supports post-EPIC maintenance and collaborates with clinical and revenue teams to standardize CDM and align with EPIC projects. You should have a bachelor's in HIM/Finance/Nursing or related field, 3–5 years healthcare experience, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, and MedAssets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in CDM coding at an acute care hospital.
• Experience with Fiscal Intermediary requirements and CMS regulations interpretation.
• 3–5 years health care experience.
• Familiarity with Mercy payors and entities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an accurate Charge-master to ensure proper submission, reimbursement and compliance with government billing regulations.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support post EPIC implementation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and revenue teams and with the EPIC project team for new and ongoing implementations.
