Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience with emphasis in Health Information Management, Finance, Nursing or related field.
• Significant experience in coding and CDM knowledge at an acute care hospital, including payor mix awareness and coding requirements.
• Experience with Fiscal Intermediary requirements and understanding of CMS regulations across Mercy entities.
• Three to five years health care experience.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain an accurate Charge Master (CDM) to ensure compliant submission and reimbursement.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support post EPIC implementation across Mercy facilities.
• Collaborate with Epic project team for new and ongoing implementations and with multidisciplinary teams.
