Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Charge Nurse to lead and supervise nursing staff, direct care, and coordinate resident plans under the Director of Nursing. You will communicate with families about resident progress, assist physicians, and ensure timely medications and treatments per policy.

Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a Kansas RN license are required. This on-site role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and the ability to help evacuate residents during emergencies; you will

Competenze

• Must have a valid Kansas nursing license that is in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills; must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
• Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
• Employee is required to use a transfer/gait belt or to obtain the assistance of another employee when attempting to assist residents when lifting or carrying objects in excess of 25 pounds.
• This is a supervisory position. Employee is required to handle employees in a manner that assists them in their ability to function effectively.
