Responsibilities

• Direct, administer and record the care given to residents in the facility.
• Communicate with family members regarding the progress of residents.
• Assist visiting physicians in rounds as required.
• Record and monitor resident progress and communicate with physicians.
• Monitor work of nursing staff in the unit and assist as needed.
• Coordinate care according to care plans and ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Replace nursing staff who call in sick and assist with nursing services when needed.
