Responsibilities

• Direct, administer and record the care given to residents in this facility.
• Coordinate care of residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Supervise nursing staff assigned to unit and monitor their work.
• Ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered and on schedule.
• Assist physicians, coordinate rounds and communicate with families as needed.
• Replace nursing staff who call in sick and provide nursing services when needed.
