Mercy Health in Fairfield Hospital is seeking a Lead RN/Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care on a busy unit. This role collaborates with the Clinical Manager to optimize care delivery, staffing, and patient flow.

The position emphasizes nursing leadership, staff mentoring, and interprofessional collaboration to support excellent patient outcomes and experience. BSN preferred with RN licensure in Ohio.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact (required).
• Certifications and ongoing professional development aligned with unit responsibilities (e.g., BLS/PALS/ACLS/NRP/ENPC, as applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates patient care on a designated unit in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Oversees staffing, assigns tasks, and mentors staff when the unit leader is absent.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards and ensures effective care delivery.
• Works with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve patient experience.
