• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS certification preferred on hire; must obtain prior to patient care.
• Certifications required based on unit overseen (PALS/ACLS/NRP/TNCC/ENPC/National Board Certifications) as applicable.
• Two years nursing experience with at least one year in acuity level of desired area.

Responsabilidades

• Adjusts schedules and patient assignments to accommodate acuity and changes.
• Provides staff guidance and oversees unit in the absence of the leader.
• Maintains safety standards and infection control; uses supplies appropriately.
• Communicates with patients and families regarding plan of care.
• Rounds on patients to evaluate safety, quality and experience.
• Mentors staff and may serve as a preceptor.
• Participates in quality monitoring and performance improvement.
• Facilitates patient placement, admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Fosters teamwork and conflict resolution among staff.
