Job summary

ASUG - Americas' SAP Users' Group in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager, Chapter Operations to lead the Chapter Operations team and oversee the end-to-end portfolio of chapters and events across North America.

You will drive planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring on-time delivery, high-quality experiences, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Technology, and Community teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in meetings and events.
• Experience managing a team of at least five employees.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume meetings/events.
• Strong end-to-end event operations knowledge.
• Financial acumen with budgets and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Chapter Operations team of five+.
• Oversee end-to-end Chapter meetings lifecycle.
• Manage budgets, registration, F&B, AV, and logistics.
• Build relationships with volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Deliver data-driven reporting to leadership.
