Job summary

ASUG - Americas’ SAP Users’ Group in Chicago, IL, seeks a Chapter Producer to lead end-to-end production of chapter meetings, translating local member priorities into cohesive agendas, speaker placements, session flows, emcee materials, and attendee outcomes.

The role requires researching SAP ecosystem trends, building relationships with volunteers and SAP contacts, and strong project management to keep programs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, Education or related field required.
• 3+ years in content development, conference programming, event production, or related field.
• Proven experience building agendas, managing speaker programs, and developing educational content for professional audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage executive stakeholders and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate local member priorities into cohesive agendas, speaker placements, session flows, emcee materials, and attendee outcomes.
• Maintain production plans and scorecards; coordinate cross-functional handoffs; prepare speakers from a content perspective.
• Support delivery readiness and use post-event feedback to improve future chapter execution.
• Build and manage relationships with chapter volunteers, SAP contacts, customers, sponsors, emcees, and internal ASUG teams.
• Manage multiple chapter content plans, timelines, and planning milestones; track progress in project tools.
