Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to advance in a Commercial General Liability team. The role supports a hybrid work model with occasional in-office attendance across multiple NA offices, including Schaumburg, IL.

You will develop expertise in policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and multi-party claims handling with a focus on quality customer service and collaboration across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• JD with 2+ years in Claims or Litigation Management or
• Bachelor’s with 6+ years in Claims or Litigation Management or
• HS diploma with 8+ years in Claims or Litigation Management or
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 6+ years in Claims or Litigation Management or
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6+ years in Claims or Litigation Management
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, brokers to provide quality claims experience.
• Learn established protocols and industry best practices for efficient claims handling.
