Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience as Certified Anesthesia Technician II.
• Active ASATT Anesthesia Technician Certification.
• Completion of AHA AED Heartsaver Certification within six months of employment.
• Basic MS Office Suite skills required.
• Proficiency in departmental computer systems and databases.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and English language proficiency as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Certified Anesthesia Technician II.
• Troubleshoot worklist connections and ultrasound studies transmitting to SYNGO.
• Weekly Philips machine maintenance checks and cleaning.
• Room preparation, cleaning, turnover between cases.
• Ensure infection prevention protocols and PPE are followed.
• Stocking and inventory management in ORs and workrooms.
• Maintenance and setup of anesthesia machines and associated equipment.
• Calibrations, pre-procedure checks, and device setup in ORs.
• Transport and handling of scopes, probes, and equipment per protocol.
• High-level disinfection and infection prevention procedures.
