Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia teams with equipment checks, maintenance, and supply management. The role requires CPR certification and at least 1 year of anesthesia tech experience, with ASATT training preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year anesthesia tech experience is required.
• Completion of an ASATT approved accredited program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checks, maintains, and prepares all anesthesia equipment per policy and IFU.
• Cleans, checks and stocks anesthesia carts daily.
• Reports any deficiency or fault in operation promptly to Supervisor/Anesthesiologist.
• Maintains a clean and orderly anesthesia supply room at all times.
• Assists anesthesia personnel as delegated, including blocks and central lines.
• Functions as a preceptor to new employees.
• Inspects equipment and reports deficiencies to supervisor and Biomed.
• Orders and maintains appropriate supply inventory.
• Troubleshoots anesthesia machines when necessary.
