Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks an Anesthesia Aide I to support anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors and related equipment. Responsibilities include room prep, cleaning, stocking supplies, and performing daily equipment checks in high-acuity areas.

You will assist with infection control, transport of scopes, and routine troubleshooting of anesthesia peripheral devices, EPIC and Neuron systems, maintaining readiness between cases. This unionized role is part of SEIU 1199-MSQ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of Anesthesia Aide experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Anesthesia Aide I.
• Room preparations and cleaning; turnover between cases.
• Anesthesia supply handling and equipment stocking.
• Secondary troubleshooting of EPIC, Neuron and anesthesia peripheral equipment.
