Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year anesthesia tech experience required. Completion of an ASATT approved accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checks, maintains, and prepares anesthesia equipment (machines, EKG monitors, defibrillators) per policy/IFU.
• Cleans, checks, and stocks anesthesia carts daily.
• Reports any deficiency to Supervisor/Anesthesiologist.
• Maintains clean anesthesia supply room.
• Assists anesthesia personnel as delegated (blocks, central lines, etc.).
• Preceptor to new employees.
• Inspects equipment and reports deficiencies.
• Orders and maintains supply inventory.
• Troubleshoots anesthesia machines.
