Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Central Services Technician to perform decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments, and to assemble case carts per a predefined preference list. You will work with the Materials Coordinator to par and replenish supplies in the surgical core and CS packs storage area.

The role requires formal Central Services training or certification, plus 3 years of hospital Sterile Processing experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test.
• National certifications in Central Service or Sterile Processing.
• At least 3 years of related experience with surgical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Assemble and deliver case carts for surgical and interventional procedures.
• Par and replenish soft supplies and CS packs storage area.
• Operate Instrument Tracking System and electronic ordering device.
• Prioritize tasks to support clinical operations under supervision.
