Job summary

The Town of Lee is seeking a Council on Aging Director to lead the COA operations for seniors, manage staff and volunteers, administer budgets and grant funds, and develop programs in compliance with state and federal laws. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, meals, health clinics, newsletter, and outreach; ensuring program quality and collaboration with other departments; overseeing annual reports and tax-related programs for seniors.

This is a full-time, in-person position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent.
• Municipal work experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Valid Driver's License and BRTA Van Certification.
• SERV Save Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implements and schedules activities and events for seniors.
• Coordinates Health and Wellness Clinics and transportation/meal services.
• Budgeting, Payroll and Grant Writing.
• Oversees senior transportation programs and donations.
• Maintains COA updates for the Annual Town Report.
• Collaborates with other departments as needed.
