Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Cement Technician to oversee operation, housekeeping, and maintenance at the cement plant. You will perform inspections, execute mechanical repairs, and support safe, efficient plant operations in a multi-skilled role.

The candidate should have 5+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. The job requires outdoor work, shifts, and teamwork in a dynamic facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, and around water.
• Must be able to work any shift and be a team player.
• Prior experience in Mechanical or Industrial Maintenance required.
• Adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE, including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cement plant equipment and perform inspections.
• Conduct routine maintenance: rigging, cutting, welding, lubrication, alignments.
• Troubleshoot equipment during operation and breakdowns.
• Maintain documentation and plan work with the team.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Assist with installations and replacements on various equipment.
• Perform light to medium plant mobile equipment tasks.
