Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Cement Technician to join our heavy industrial maintenance team at the cement plant. This multi-skilled role focuses on operation, housekeeping and industrial maintenance to support safe, reliable plant performance.

You will apply safety practices, perform inspections, execute mechanical repairs, and work with equipment like rigging, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics. The role requires 5 years in heavy industry and a high mechanical aptitude, with willingness to work all

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance required.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety, assess risks before tasks and use PPE.
• Perform walk-by inspections and checklists on the process plant.
• Conduct industrial maintenance including rigging, cutting, welding and lubrication.
• Make repairs and replacements on a wide range of equipment.
• Operate light and medium plant mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize equipment during operation and breakdowns.
• Maintain documentation and participate in team activities.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
