Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Cell Site Technician to join our field operations in Augusta, Maine. You will provide technical expertise for network transformation, outages, and maintenance, ensuring smooth operation and customer impact reduction.

This is a 24x7 on-site role in a high-visibility Operations environment. Responsibilities include optimization, fault triage, and coordination with internal/external teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to operate a company vehicle throughout the territories assigned

Responsibilities

• Performing optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems and applications to identify overall system availability and performance.
• Evaluating network coverage to find gaps, making recommendations to improve coverage, and helping to implement those recommendations.
• Performing triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events.
• Generating, driving, and updating problem-tracking tickets via multiple systems and continuously improving business practices.
• Escalating issues to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution.
