Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Cell Site Engineer to maintain and upgrade cell sites across the South Eastern Oregon region. You will perform regular maintenance, manage inventories, conduct audits, and evaluate network coverage to improve performance.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Physical work on-site, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two+ years of work experience.
• Three+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% of the time.
• Ability to report to the designated job site within 45 minutes to one hour for rotational on-call coverage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performing optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems and applications.
• Evaluating network coverage to identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Performing triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events.
• Generating, driving, and updating problem-tracking tickets across systems.
