Job summary

Qualifications

• Verbal and written English communication required.
• Intermediate arithmetic skills expected.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to quickly learn new computer/smartphone applications and programs.
• Advanced knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and routine inspections of construction to verify materials and processes meet plans and specifications.
• Use appropriate equipment and perform complex calculations for inspections.
• Work under supervision appropriate to knowledge demonstrated for the assignment.
• Review drawings to prepare for inspections and understand the construction design.
• Document and communicate inspection results to supervisor and project team.
