Job summary

Volkert Inc. seeks a Senior CEI Inspector for the Gulf Region based in Alabama. The role requires extensive inspection expertise and a commitment to safety.

You will document daily activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to plans and specifications on complex projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive inspection experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive inspection level experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and meet safety requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications.
• Test materials, review plans, analyze engineering data, and perform construction surveys/layout.
• Maintain daily diaries, resolve constructability issues, and mitigate delays to progress.
• Monitor contractor operations and review test reports to ensure conformity with plans and permits.
