Volkert Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to support our Gulf Region project in East Arkansas. You will lead inspection activities, ensure compliance with contract documents, and coordinate with contractors and utility owners to keep projects on track.

The role requires at least 8 years of progressive inspection experience, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed. A pre-employment drug screen and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive inspection experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specs.
• Test materials, review plans, analyze data, and perform construction surveys.
• Maintain daily diaries and coordinate with contractors to minimize delays.
• Monitor daily operations and review test reports for conformance.
• Document pay records and perform construction calculations.
• Identify potential contract issues and advise on plan revisions.
• Ensure compliance with AR EPSC standards and permits.
• Coordinate with contractors, owners, and utilities to minimize disruption.
• Perform material acceptance testing in lab and log results.
