Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff CDN Engineer to lead enterprise CDN, edge delivery, and web performance initiatives. You will define architectures, build automation, and collaborate across application, infrastructure, cloud, network, and security teams to improve reliability and scalability.

You will participate in on-call rotations, guide incident response, and drive long-term improvements while mentoring engineers and advancing platform readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and supporting enterprise CDN and edge delivery.
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, caching, routing and performance.
• Automation, IaC, APIs, and self-service platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise CDN and edge delivery architectures and standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support and lead disaster recovery efforts.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and incidents.
• Set long-term direction for CDN, DNS, and edge security platforms.
