Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking an experienced Staff CDN Engineer to lead enterprise CDN and edge-delivery architecture, driving reliability, performance, and security. You will mentor engineers, contribute hands-on design, and help shape the modernization roadmap across CDN, DNS, and edge-security platforms.

The role involves on-call support, incident response, and collaboration with application, cloud, network, and security teams to improve service health and reduce operational risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and supporting enterprise CDN/Akamai and edge-delivery solutions.
• Strong Python/Go/Node.js automation and IaC experience, with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading incidents, RCA, and cross-functional collaborations.
• Ability to define reference architectures and standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise CDN/edge architectures, standards, and reusable patterns.
• Lead reviews, align teams, and contribute hands-on engineering to initiatives.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CDN, DNS, TLS, routing, and web performance issues.
• Provide on-call support and lead incident response and remediation.
• Mentor engineers and promote operational readiness and ownership.
