Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff CDN Engineer to lead enterprise CDN, edge delivery, web performance, DNS, TLS and security initiatives. This hands-on leader defines architecture, builds automation, and partners across infrastructure, cloud, network and security teams.

Responsibilities include on-call ownership, incident response, and guiding long-term reliability improvements, with mentorship to engineers and a focus on scalability and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and supporting enterprise CDN and edge solutions.
• Strong Python/Go/Node.js with IaC, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership in complex incidents and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise CDN and edge delivery architectures and standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide hands-on engineering during incidents and releases.
• Mentor engineers and promote operational readiness and ownership.
• Set long-term direction for CDN, DNS, traffic management and edge security.
