Job summary

Empower Retirement seeks a Lead CDH Implementation Consultant to guide complex Consumer-Directed Health deployments for large employer clients. You will translate client objectives into scalable design and drive execution from design to launch.

You will serve as an internal CDH strategy expert, guiding implementation teams and partners across Workplace Solutions, managing risks, and ensuring readiness, testing, launch and transition to ongoing service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years in CDH, employee benefits, or related fields.
• Experience implementing CDH solutions incl. HSAs, FSAs, HRAs.
• Experience leading multi-workstream implementations.
• Strong CDH plan design, eligibility, contributions, funding, and data integrations.
• Ability translating client requirements into implementation strategies.
• Experience consulting on complex or nonstandard requirements.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Subject-matter expert in CDH implementation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-profile CDH implementations for large employer clients, maintaining accountability for strategy, outcomes, risks, decisions, and delivery.
• Serve as a senior advisor to clients, brokers, and partners, providing CDH design and implementation guidance.
• Translate client requirements and plan designs into scalable implementation strategies including system configuration, eligibility, contributions, funding, data integration, testing, and ongoing administration.
• Provide CDH leadership across multi-product Workplace Solutions engagements, coordinating dependencies and influencing decisions.
• Anticipate and manage implementation risks and nonstandard requirements, escalating when needed.
• Lead readiness, user acceptance testing, launch, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Act as an internal CDH strategy expert and guide cross-functional teams on best practices.
• Educate teams on CDH solutions and requirements across implementation, operations, product, and sales.
• Identify and improve CDH processes, tools, standards, and methodologies for scalability and efficiency.
