Job summary

Summit Exercises and Training LLC is seeking a Sr SME for DHS CBRN/WMD Detection Operations to support the Mobile Deployment Detection Unit. You will lead planning and management tasks, coordinate rapid deployments, and ensure equipment readiness for national security events.

Travel up to 75% and a strong focus on RN/RN detection are required. The role requires extensive RN detection experience, proficiency with PRD, RIID, and portable detectors, and the ability to train stakeholders in field

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection with emphasis on RN detection.
• 10+ years of RN detection training and operations experience at special events or steady-state operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDDU program planning and management taskings.
• Coordinate deployment of MDDU equipment and track progress.
• Ensure equipment is repaired, calibrated and ready for deployment 24/7.
• Provide coverage during non-standard hours including weekends and holidays.
• Deliver just-in-time training on deployed equipment to stakeholders.
• Prepare After-Action Reports after deployments.
• Assist with scheduling off-site surge staff for deployments.
