Job summary

SummitET is seeking a DHS CBRN/WMD Detection Operations SME to support nationwide detection operations and training. The role requires maintaining detection equipment, performing field-level repairs, and coordinating with federal and local partners.

The candidate should have 5+ years in radiation detection training, be able to travel 50–75% of the month, and obtain a SECRET clearance. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in radiation detection training and operations support.
• Experience with SEAR/NSSE events or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and calibration of MDDU equipment and sources.
• Perform and supervise CBRN detection operations nationwide.
• Train federal/state/local partners and conduct after-action reporting.
• Manage travel and procurement per federal regs; report status regularly.
• Ensure safety and compliance with DOT and radiation safety rules.
