Job summary

Summit Et seeks a Senior Subject Matter Expert for the Mobile Deployment Detection Unit to provide operational and program support. You will lead location-specific tasks, surge to national events, and coordinate MDDU deployments across diverse sites.

This role requires experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation and the ability to travel extensively. The position may require deployment without advance notification and involves working with federal/state partners and first

Qualifications

Experience in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) detection with emphasis on R/N detection.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to complete reports (AARs, situation reports).
Must be willing to travel 50–75% of the month across the contiguous US and US territories.

Responsibilities

Initiate and report on MDDU program planning and management tasks.
Deploy MDDU equipment and transport via towable trailer to designated locations.
Coordinate deployments and track progress of MDDU assets and equipment.
Ensure MDDU equipment is repaired, calibrated, and ready for deployment 24/7/365.
Provide coverage during non-standard hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Provide just-in-time training on MDDU equipment to stakeholders.
Ensure completion of After-Action Reports after deployments.
Assist with scheduling onsite staff to support surge deployments.
Provide status updates to the DHS CWMD MDDU PM.
Perform other duties as assigned
