Job summary

Heraeus Medevio, a medical device unit of Heraeus, seeks a Process Development Engineer III focusing on catheter technologies. The role centers on creating robust manufacturing processes, leading cross-functional projects, and delivering scalable production-ready solutions.

Travel between Fridley and White Bear Lake sites is required to support programs. The candidate will drive design, validation, and data-driven decisions using DOE and statistical methods, mentoring peers and ensuring rigorous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant process development experience in medical devices preferred.
• Experience with catheter product development and technical leadership a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, development, and validation activities for medical devices through the product development process.
• Provide technical leadership for commercial release of products to production.
• Perform data-driven decisions using DOE, statistics, and process characterization.
• Develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Lead tooling, fixturing, and equipment qualification and installation.
• Mentor other engineers and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to solve technical problems on the floor.
• Travel between Fridley and White Bear Lake sites to support programs.
