Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in Fridley, MN is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician-Catheters to provide advanced technical support for development, characterization, and production of new catheter technologies. You will work as an engineering process expert, guiding cross-functional teams with minimal direction.

The role requires hands-on involvement in process setup, documentation, troubleshooting, and scale-up activities, with a focus on producing reliable medical device manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering, manufacturing or process development experience.
• Experience with catheter assembly, braiding, reflow, tipping, and inspection.
• Experience in regulated medical device or OEM manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, SPC, and manufacturing documentation systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple technical priorities and work independently.
• Commitment to positive customer and stakeholder experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for engineering and process development projects.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for equipment, tooling and process setup.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and setup sheets.
• Establish process windows, controls, and key operating parameters.
• Support the transition of new products from development to production.
• Train and mentor technicians and other team members.
• Maintain compliance with quality systems and documentation standards.
