Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in Fridley, MN is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician - Catheters to provide advanced technical support for development, characterization, and sustainment of catheter technologies. You will act as an engineering process expert, leading process setup, documentation, and training for manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, catheter experience, and strong problem-solving skills in a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering, manufacturing, or process development.
• Experience with catheter assembly, braiding, reflow, tipping, and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced hands-on technical support for engineering and process development projects.
• Serve as SME for equipment, tooling, and process setup for scalable manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing and process documentation.
• Establish process windows, controls, and key operating parameters.
• Support transition of new products from development to production, including training.
• Utilize ERP, SPC and related systems to coordinate manufacturing and scheduling.
