Job summary

The Proud Bird in Los Angeles is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and event sales by developing client relationships, planning and coordinating events, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can meet revenue targets while delivering top-tier customer service.

Experience with high-volume venues and familiarity with Delphi, Tripleseat, or Caterease is highly valued, along with strong communication

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Catering Sales/Event Sales required.
• Experience at a similar size property and with a similar sales volume.
• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of venue features, benefits, and competing venues within the market.
• Experience with catering management software (Delphi, Tripleseat, Caterease) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain or exceed budgeted booking goals and revenue in all special event areas.
• Sell to a variety of market segments.
• Thrive in high-volume, high-pace sales office.
• Consistently book repeat business with long-term client relationships.
• Conduct site inspections and client presentations.
• Participate in trade shows and sales blitzes.
• Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution.
