Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Senior Catering & Events Manager to oversee planning and execution for complex events, delivering the light and warmth of hospitality to every guest. You’ll lead proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate seamless event experiences from pre-event to post-event.

The role emphasizes creating memorable menus, managing client needs, and guiding team performance to ensure exceptional service and revenue growth. Passion for hospitality and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with selling.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Previous experience working in the hotel industry highly desired.
• Experience with Delphi would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Grow catering and events market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business.
• Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business.
• Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience.
• Execute complex events: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience.
• Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service.
