Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Catering Director to lead catering operations at the Inova Conference Center. You will build strong client relationships, manage event execution, and guide a team to deliver exceptional experiences from concept through finish.

The role combines operational leadership, business acumen and a passion for service in a high-visibility setting, with opportunities for growth and impact across premier events.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and a calm presence in fast-paced events.
• 3-5 years of event execution experience with client focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy venue.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead all catering and event operations for the conference center.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, associates, and suppliers.
• Ensure events are well prepared and executed successfully.
• Identify and resolve event issues to minimize complications.
• Partner with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized event experiences.
• Manage budgets, revenue goals, and operational performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high- performing team.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.
• Collaborate with sales and conference services teams to maximize client satisfaction and business growth.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
