Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to lead on- and off-premise events with a strong focus on client service and operational excellence.

You will coordinate menus, staff, budgets and vendor contracts while ensuring top-tier guest experiences and seamless communication across departments. This role demands leadership, organization and precise execution in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in managing people, events and the guest experience.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with clients, senior management and support staff.
• Experience budgeting, P&L, labor forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• HR experience including hiring, training and development.
• 3–5 years in hospitality management (off-premise catering preferred).

Responsibilities

• Consult clients on scope, expectations, budget, menu and entertainment for a successful event.
• Plan menus in consultation with clients and chefs.
• Negotiate vendor contracts.
• Coordinate event execution with the Catering Event Manager and team.
• Recruit, interview, train and supervise staff.
• Lead and motivate the catering team and plan schedules.
• Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
• Act as liaison between Sales Catering Managers, Supervising Chefs and clients.
• Assess contract requirements and ensure service delivery meets standards.
• Perform final review of events to ensure quality and timely payments.
