Job summary

Bars & Recreation is seeking a Senior Catering & Event Captain to lead onsite and offsite catered events, transportation of catering materials, and supervision of event staff. You will coordinate with Sales, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences across Milwaukee-area venues.

The role requires a minimum of three years in hospitality or banquet operations, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple events with a guest-first

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in hospitality, banquet, catering, or event operations.
• Banquet Captain or catering leadership experience preferred.
• Must be insurable and have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet setup, service, room flips, and event breakdown.
• Serve as primary onsite contact for clients during event execution.
• Transport food, beverage, equipment, and supplies between Bars & Recreation locations.
• Coordinate event timelines with Sales, Culinary, Operations, and FLT teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure food presentation, beverage service, buffet displays, and event spaces meet quality standards.
• Time Commitment: 30–40 hours per week; days, nights, weekends; Fridays and Saturdays required.
