Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Catering Director to lead the catering and events program for a high-profile law firm account in New York. You will serve as the primary client contact, oversee a team of catering professionals, and ensure every event delivers exceptional food, service, and attention to detail.

This role suits an experienced catering professional who thrives in a fast-paced, polished environment and values client relationships as well as operational results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of hospitality, catering, or events experience, including 2+ years in management.
• Experience with menu costing, pricing, contracts, staffing and event logistics.
• Proven ability to manage food and labor costs.
• Excellent client service, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience leading and developing catering teams.
• ServSafe or other food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee catering events from start to finish.
• Build relationships with clients and act as a trusted event planning partner.
• Develop menus, proposals, pricing, contracts and event plans.
• Oversee event logistics including food prep, setup, service and cleanup.
• Hire, train and develop catering staff while maintaining standards.
• Manage food and labor costs through planning and purchasing.
• Coordinate staff, vendors, equipment and other resources.
• Partner with culinary and operations teams for seamless execution.
• Address client concerns and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
