Job summary

Eurest USA is hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Catering Captain at Takeda Pharmaceutical, 500 Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA 02142. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional overtime, including nights and rare weekends; more details during interview.

The role involves supervising the Catering Department, preparing and serving food at functions, and may require driving to delivery sites.

Qualifications

• Catering event experience and ability to set up, work events, and clean up.
• Valid driver's license may be required; food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where state law requires.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in performance appraisals.
• Determines workload from catering orders and coordinates setup with function group leaders.
• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled catering functions; returns items after events.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Follows sanitation and safety practices in handling food and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
