Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Catering Senior Captain to supervise the Catering Department, prepare and serve food at functions, and support delivery of events under the Catering Director. The role may involve driving a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules at the 175 Forest Street, Waltham, MA location. Prior catering experience is required; a valid driver’s license and food handler/alcohol server permits may be needed where

Qualifications

• Prior catering experience is required.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees.
• Prepares and serves food at functions under supervision of the Catering Director.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
