Beusa Energy Group in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Category Manager for Electrical & Power Generation. You will own strategic sourcing, procurement, lifecycle management, and optimization of electrical components and power generation assets across operations.

Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Mobilization teams, you will manage multi‑million dollar budgets, SLAs, warranty recovery, and long‑lead item forecasting to ensure availability, reliability, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, procurement, or a related field, or 7+ years of experience; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
• Proven experience in category management or strategic sourcing within electrical equipment, with MV/HV systems knowledge.
• Experience in power generation, renewable energy, or industrial procurement.
• Demonstrated expertise managing lifecycle of MV/HV components and power distribution assets.
• Knowledge of inspection, rebuild, and asset lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor relationships, negotiations, and KPI tracking for electrical components and power generation assets.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for backup generators, prime power systems, microgrids, battery storage, and grid services.
• Own a portfolio of long‑lead, high‑value equipment including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and control systems.
• Conduct market analysis and trend forecasting to inform procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Mobilization teams to ensure assets meet standards.
