Job summary

Dashiell Corporation in Houston seeks a Senior Manager, Category Management to lead sourcing strategy for major electrical apparatus and manage supplier relationships. You will drive supplier selections, negotiations, and long-term contracts to support critical infrastructure projects.

You will lead RFIs/RFPs, maintain supplier qualification data, and deliver measurable cost savings while mentoring a procurement team and aligning with engineering and project needs, reporting to the VP of Supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for major apparatus categories.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs/RFQs from supplier identification through award recommendation.
• Maintain Approved Supplier List and Vendor Pricing Guide with current qualifications and negotiated pricing.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supply agreements, master agreements, and long-term contracts.
• Own relationships with key apparatus suppliers and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Track cost savings, KPIs, and supplier performance for leadership.
• Mentor and develop buyers and sourcing specialists.
