Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Sr. Category Development Manager to support Walmart’s Paper business. You will synthesize data, develop actionable recommendations, and lead cross-functional efforts to drive category growth and market share.

You will lead weekly buyer meetings, build strategic plans, and stay ahead of consumer trends across retail channels, while leveraging tools like Power BI, JDA Prospace, and Nielsen Discover to deliver insights and presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Category Management
• Experience driving category/brand plans, strategy development, merchandising analytics
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
• Proficient in JDA Prospace and Walmart modular process knowledge
• Strong communication, ethical judgment and relationship building

Responsibilities

• Gather, synthesize, and analyze category, shopper, and channel data to inform Walmart merchant of performance.
• Translate complex metrics into strategic insights for consumer dynamics and growth.
• Lead weekly buyer meetings, advising on topics and requests for data/presentations.
• Draw category modulars and provide supporting documentation.
• Develop strategic plans, vision, tactics, and growth strategies.
• Stay updated on consumer trends across retail channels.
• Support data requests and contribute to strategic presentations as a credible Category Management Advisor to Walmart.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, JDA Prospace, Power BI, Nielsen Discover, Walmart Loyalty data/Nielsen panel, and Numerator.
