Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Senior Analyst of Category Management in the United States. The role focuses on delivering strategic insights for the sales team by analyzing category trends, pricing, and opportunities.

You will work with internal stakeholders to translate data into actionable recommendations and retailer strategies. The position requires solid Excel and Power BI skills, plus experience in category management and shopper insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• 2–3 years in sales, category management, or analytics; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in category management, shopper insights, or space management is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office knowledge.
• Advanced Scintilla reporting experience in POS and shopper behavior is required.
• Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex data, derive insights, and present clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes category leadership to create actionable insights for retailer category strategies.
• Sell and influence internal stakeholders with clear recommendations.
• Understand and apply shelving principles and guidelines.
• Planogram ideation and execution, followed by tracking of results.
• Analyze performance within account to develop actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales to couple insights with strategic initiatives and sales objectives.
• Provide advanced analytical reporting of panel and POS measures (IRI/Luminate).
• Leverage demographic measures to retain customers within defined categories.
