Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager in Rogers, AR for a hybrid role with three days on-site per week to support the sales team. You will analyze item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering via POS data and Circana/IRI data, delivering insights and actionable recommendations to clients.

The position emphasizes strong analytics, data storytelling, and clear communication. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience are required; syndicated data experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or related work experience substituted for the educational requirement.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Windows and software including Excel, PowerPoint, VB and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools.
• Clear and concise communication of relevant information; data mining using CPG concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects using POS and Circana/IRI data.
• Utilize Retailer POS, Circana/IRI data sources and reporting tools.
• Demonstrate strong analytics, insights, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Develop category presentations with syndicated data addressing business issues.
• Collaborate with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Stay informed on client KPIs, strategies, and timelines; leverage client relationships for deliverables.
• Category Analyst/Manager Certification is a plus.
