Job summary

Stillwater Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Manager to lead and oversee complex insurance litigation matters across the organization. You will advise Claims Leadership and Legal, manage outside counsel relationships, legal spend, and high-exposure claims from inception through resolution.

The ideal candidate has strong legal acumen and insurance industry expertise, balancing risk, efficiency, and favorable claim outcomes. Active FL adjuster license and JD required.

Qualifications

• Florida Resident Adjuster's License.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active license to practice law.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in insurance claims, litigation management, corporate legal, or litigation firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex insurance litigation across the organization.
• Advise Claims Leadership and Legal on litigation strategy and outside counsel relationships.
• Manage litigation budgets, spend, and authority decisions.
• Develop and implement litigation budgets, pleadings, discovery, and trial prep with counsel.
