Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd. seeks a Litigation Consultant - General Liability to manage high-end cases involving serious injuries and complex coverage issues.

You will develop litigation strategies, coordinate with clients and local counsel, and drive early resolution while maintaining quality and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates bring a decade of litigation experience, including claims management, and hold or prefer a JD with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Ten years of litigation experience including 5 years in claims management or equivalent.
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and acts on reports; responds to inquiries; seeks legal opinions and early resolution.
• Handles high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios.
• Coordinates with clients and with local counsel; monitors performance and case progress.
• Identifies issues and formulates defense strategy; attends mediations, trials, or hearings as needed.
• Supports the organization's quality programs and enhances return-to-work efforts.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree preferred

Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
