Berkley One in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Casualty Claims Supervisor to lead internal adjusters and oversee TPA operations, ensuring high-quality service for clients and partners.

You will manage a team, coach performance, and guide complex auto, liability, and injury claims from investigation to settlement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold Berkley One standards. Remote/hybrid flexibility is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of casualty claims management experience.
• 3+ years handling high-exposure and complex casualty claims.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and legal concepts.
• Empathy and customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise claims adjusters, support staff, and administrative personnel.
• Coach and administer performance, compensation, and goals.
• Lead auto, liability, and injury claims with strong customer service.
• Oversee large or complex casualty claims and settlements.
• Review coverage, reserving, negotiation, and settlement for TPA network.
• Coordinate with external experts and legal counsel as needed.
• Travel 5–10% for business activities.
